Hanging in there
Something changes inside you during a transformation period, whether that being weight loss, training, muscle growth, diet, or even something that has nothing to do with health. The thing that makes it hard is routine. It just stops being exciting all of a sudden and all the workout highs and all the success kinda just turns into an everyday thing. So how do you keep yourself motivated when the shock of everyday life sets in?
Know your reasons
The single best way to keep your focus is to remember your reasons. Why did you get into this in the first place, what was your main reason for beginning your transformation? If you forgot your reasons, then now is a really good time to re-write them again.
Notice your progress
After a little while you tend to forget your progress and you feel like everything is just standing still, but just try and get your head back 3-5 weeks. How long could you hold a plank for? How much could you squat? How is your lat pull coming a long? How much weight did you lose? If you are not noticing a significant improvement in one of the areas or all of them, then you are either lying to yourself, or you really need to hire a personal trainer to get you the results you deserve.
Be proud of yourself
Are you appreciating your effort? If not then you really should, it’s about time you stop talking down to yourself and begin to look in the mirror and just flex those guns like a mad man, and tell yourself how awesome you look with that brand new body in front of you. Stop paying attention to the few bumps still on your belly, or those love handles that are still showing a bit. Instead you should start paying attention to all the positive changes, how you are feeling and how much healthier you look!
these are my absolute best advice to help you stay on track and not quit before you’re done, so read them again and focus on your progress and your goals, never forget your reasons.
Now get back out there and get that success you want!
